• E-visa fee ranges between US$ 10 to 80.
• For some countries it is completely free.

Activities allowed:

• Recreation, sight seeing, casual visit to meet friends and relatives,
• Short term yoga programme,
• Short term (less than 6 months) courses on local languages, music, dance, arts & crafts, cooking, medicine etc. - not issuing a qualifying certificate/ diploma etc,
• Voluntary work of short duration (one month), not involving monetary payment or consideration of any kind in return,
• Medical treatment including treatment under Indian systems of medicine,
• As attendant to e-medical visa holder
• Business purpose
• A conference/ seminar/ workshop organized by a government agency and private conferences by private persons/companies/organizations with requisite permission

• On arrival passport with six months validity and 2 blank pages
• Applicant has own passport and not endorsed on parents’ passport
• Apply minimum 4 and maximum 120 days before date of arrival
• Carry a printed copy of Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
• Confirm ETA status as 'GRANTED' on this website
• Biometric details mandatorily captured on arrival in India.
