4. Death registration: RWF 26100
Documents required:   

  • EA(P)-2 form with one passport size photograph of the person informing about the death pasted on it https://passport.gov.in/nri/external2.pdf
  • Original passport of the deceased
  • Death certificate/ post mortem report from the hospital indicating cause of death. The documents have to be in English only.
  • Police report in case of an unnatural death
  • Embalming Certificate issued by Rwandan Authorities, in case the body of the deceased has to be carried to India
  • Original passport and one photocopy of passport (front and back covers) of the person informing about the death showing personal particulars & residence permit
